My son is sixteen and really into skateboarding.  He is always shopping for skateboard decks, skateboard wheels and skateboard trucks.  There's a lot of variety out there in the skateboard deck business.  Some skaters enjoy Tony Hawk skateboard decks and products.  Tony Hawk is a famous skater who has been skating for over 20 years, and he has his own brand of skateboard decks and other skate products. 

Other popular skateboard decks and equipment are Hurley, Volcom, DC, Emerica, Billabong and more.  My son likes most of those skateboard deck brands.  The skater can be very particular about what brand of skateboard decks and products he or she uses.  The kind of skateboard decks and wheels they use are also important to them.  Not only skateboard decks, but skater clothing is in high demand.  He won't wear anything unless it is affiliated with skateboarding.  The skaters have a certain culture, including the clothing, their hairstyle and their language, including words like "vert."  If you are in the market for new skateboard decks or other skating products, you will find a large variety out there.
