Outdoor Sport, Let's Not Forget about Volleyballl |

I love volleyball, and honestly, the only reason I go to the beach is to play volleyball. But there's nothing better at a picnic or the beach, than pitching a volleyball net and getting a group of people together to play. Volleyball is one of those sports that is great both as an indoor sport or outdoor sport. Unlike some outdoor sports, volleyball doesn't need a specific type of flooring. I've played on grass, sand, hardwood and even concrete. As far as playing this outdoor sport goes, sand is more comfortable on the body when you dive for the ball, but grass is easier to jump on and run around on. But if I had to choose between the two, for my favorite of this outdoor sport, I'd have to pick sand volleyball.
Now if you've never played volleyball before, you're probably thinking it's really hard to learn and/or play, but it isn't at all. Plus, it's not too pricey to get started. I suggest picking up a starter kit, this includes poles, net, stakes, a ball and rope. However, one thing I highly recommend is to invest in a better ball, one that is leather. A leather volleyball doesn't sting as much when you hit it. There are some great videos on youtube that will teach you how to do various aspects of this outdoor sport. It's an easy sport to play and you can pick it up quickly.
