skateboard wheels, skateboard decksWhen I was a lot younger I used to go to the roller skating rink at least three times a week.  I met a young man there who loved to work on skates, so I asked him if I could get some wheels for my skates.  He said, "Sure, I'll get you some skateboard wheels!"  I asked him if the skateboard wheels would work on roller skates and he told me that they were even better than the normal roller skate wheels! 

I night he took my roller skates home with him and removed the skateboard wheels off one of the old skateboard decks he had laying around. 

He returned my roller skates to me the following night and I couldn't believe how different the skateboard wheels looked!  They were so much wider than my old wheels and the skateboard wheels were made of a more flexible rubber.  

I took a spin around the rink on my skateboard wheels and what a difference it made!  I could take the corners a lot faster than with my regular wheels; the skateboard wheels didn't skid at all; I loved them! 

I highly recommend skateboard wheels for any roller skaters who like to take the corners fast!
